JUNIOR FRIENDS
OF THE LIBRARY
The Junior Friends of the Library is a volunteer group of young patrons (5th
grade & up) who enjoy books, videos, music, crafts & outings. Periodically, the
Junior Friends hold fundraisers to raise money for exciting programs, help
obtain items for the library & to help area shelters, food banks & people in
need.
The Junior Friends meets every third Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM in
the Library under the supervision of the Children's Librarian & volunteer
parents.

Junior Friends is a volunteer group of young people from grades 4 and up.
Membership is open to the public. Meetings are at 6:30 p.m. on the second
Thursday of the month.
The organization assists the library with projects and volunteers time and
service. Library workshops are balanced with social events such as movie nights,
seasonal parties, author bingo games and game nights.
For fund raising, Junior Friends sponsors an occasional bottle and can drive and
has bake sales.
